It is a very difficult form of eczema to treat as the root cause is down to the state of mind as opposed to an allergic response.

Nummular eczema is not necessarily an allergic response and is associated with dry skin characterized by patches of dry, itchy rashes sometimes in the shape of a coin.

Eyelid eczema is also very common and can be the result of allergies to make-up, skin cream and other substances containing chemicals and irritants.
