Hello
Very good information on website. I have had eczema for years now mainly on scalp face shoulders and back. It really got bad when I was using just for men product. I am 38. I have tried creams and shampoo prescribed by my doctor to no avail. I recently went to health spa for massage and was recommended to use shampoos and wash lotion that did not contain SLS and SES in them. I tried an organic shampoo and wash and lotion that they were selling. My scalp and face has really cleared up but my shoulder and upperback are still the same. I am going to try wearing just cotton tops and shirts and see how that goes. It makes sense that this could be the cause as there would be more friction on skin on shoulders and upperback. Chest and arms are fine. The name of the product i am using now is VOYA its organic with seaweed in it. Its pretty expensive but lasts for ages only small amount needed. It works for me

Great tips on dealing with eczema! This can be such a frustrating condition to treat for infants. We struggled with finding clothing to prevent our little one from scratching herself to the point of severe bleeding. This is why we created Sock Monkeys Clothing (www.sockmonkeysclothing.com). This eczema clothing has "hand socks" that prevent little fingernails from scratching delicate skin. It is made of snuggly soft organice cotton and all the seams are on the outside to prevent aggravation and chafing. I hope other families out there suffering with child eczema can find some relief by using this clothing.

Those eczema pictures are really bad. My son started showing eczema symptoms when he was 3 months. He had some rash on his face, arms and behind his knees. It was so bad. Thankfully, I found this Gentle Natural eczema cream and it really works. It is thick and it seals moisture.

I just love all of the safe and healthy alternatives you offer here! We have been through so much with our four yr old son who has suffered since he was a baby w Eczema. It was frustrating bc he was put on all kinds of meds and creams and doctors told us he was a gray area and that these were are only options of treatment. After some time of learning about all of the nasty things these potent drugs can do or cause- we wanted to find something safer and something that would treat the cause not just his symptoms. We found all this in a children's chewable probiotic from Vidazorb and he not only loves it..it has worked for him!!! We now sleep at night and he looks and acts like a normal little boy! Caroline *mommy of two

I've was diagnosed with eczema mid last year and have been struggling with it since. Last time I saw your article, I tried your Burts Bees shampoo, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working for me. I've been reading around and I found a suggestion for Tea Tree oil shampoo. I just bought some today, the brand is from Herbal Authority. I was just wondering if you've heard anything about this? Thanks. Also, your blog is great. It's really a great reference for me. Thank you for all the work you've put into it!
